  • Shown in Céline’s Spring/Summer 2015 runway show, this piece takes after the familiar crew-neck tee, elevating it through material and ornament.

    Made in fluid silk cady for a smooth hand feel, the top is cut to a loose, relaxed fit. Bands of light silk mesh on the front extend toward the sides where they hang freely.

    This detail is reminiscent of Madeleine Vionnet’s work from the 1920s, particularly a chiton dress with similar suspended side panels.
