  • Shown in Céline’s Resort 2015 lookbook, this long knit dress is crafted to a relaxed silhouette with practical three-quarter sleeves and a floor-length hem. Knitted in Italy, the dress is made in an off-white wool, with subtle variations in the yarn that lend a tactile, handmade quality to the piece.

    The dress appears in imagery shot for the season’s campaign by Tyrone Lebon, where model Daria Werbowy wears a version in black. The campaign imagery nods to Julian Wasser’s 1968 photographs of Joan Didion with her newly acquired Corvette Stingray. The velour dress Didion wears in the Time Magazine-commissioned portraits seems to be a signature, reappearing in various images of her over the years.
