  • Drawing from traditional Japanese dress, Prada’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection used straightforward silhouettes against floral motifs to explore contrasting ideas of femininity.

    Made in wool-cotton sateen, this jacket is cut to a spare, minimal silhouette: a round collar, with three-quarter-length sleeves, and a concealed snap-button placket. On the chest are rectangular patches, one with a graphic monochrome flower print that recalls the Japanese plum blossom.
