The fluid, soft-structured outerwear shown for Céline’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection included this jacket, made in a cream-colored matte vinyl leather; similar in hand and drape to nappa lambskin, with a soft, napped microsuede lining.
This layered jacket consists of a sleeveless inner vest and an outer cape with long drawstring ties at the hem. Both cape and vest are joined at the gathered collar, which also features long drawstring ties. Adjusting either drawstring changes the amount of gathering on the cape, and with it, the shape of the jacket as a whole.
The piece was featured in the season’s campaign, shot by Juergen Teller across modernist and brutalist interiors.

Good
Some mild delamination on lower left front, and on small area of one drawstring tie. The rest of the garment shows no further flaws.
